|video| #NBA J.R Smith Ejected For Elbowing Jason Terry in the Face

The New York Knicks dominated the Boston Celtics last night defeating them 90-76 and going up 3-0 in the playoff series. Things got testy however between J.R Smith and Jason Terry resulting in Smith’s ejection. Read more after the jump.

With just over seven minutes remaining, Smith was isolated with the ball on the wing, with Jason Terry defending. Terry aggressively swiped at the ball, and Smith responded by swinging an elbow that caught Terry in the face and caused him to hit the floor.

Terry had to be held back from going after Smith, and the referees viewed the play as being malicious enough to rule it a flagrant two foul, which comes with it an automatic ejection.

To me it looks like a combination of contact by Smith and a flop by Terry.
