M.I.A. is stuck in Brooklyn for the moment, after her billionaire ex/child’s father Benjamin Bronfman put a restraining order on her. Funny how that works, since most times the order is to keep unwanted people away. This time, it’s to keep her from leaving with their 4-year-old son, Ikhyd. The two split up last year, and have been in a pretty nasty custody battle since then. M.I.A. revealed plans on moving with Ikhyd to her home country of England, but Ben put the kibosh on that ASAP with the order. It’s only temporary for now, so there will be a new development in the story soon enough!
