Over the weekend, reports surfaced that one of The View hosts Elisabeth Hasselbeck was being let go from her 10-year spot on the show, with producers and her colleagues just totally over her conservative views. Now her co-host Barbara Walters is speaking out on the matter, and she’s denying such reports. However, her wording is quite particular! See what she said below.

“There is a particularly false story that keeps getting picked up about Elisabeth’s alleged departure, saying we don’t approve of her conservative views. The truth is, we love Elisabeth [and] we value and appreciate her point of view,” Barbara told People. “She helps give this show perspective and balance… We have no plans for Elisabeth to leave this show.”
