#NBA Michael Jordan Offered Pro Baseball Contract! Even At 50 Years Old

Don’t you love the picture that goes with this story lol. That is the mascot of a baseball team imitating Scottie Pippen asking for MJ. Funny, all of the past 2 weeks since it was MJ’s 50th birthday people have wondered could he still play ball, even a little bit. Turns out it is not a basketball team that is willing to let him try. It is a baseball team named The Joilet Slammers. Make no mistake, they are a professional team, just not on the level of MLB. We all know Jordan is worth alot of money, over $500 million, but this baseball team somehow thought an offer of $1,600 a month, plus $20 a day for food would attract his airness lol. Not only that, but he would live for free because he would be placed with a “home” family just like other players who aren’t from the area. I think he would much rather be in one of his mansions instead. But still the idea was cool, and I am sure it generated some attention to the low-level professional team.
