Rastafarians Are So Mad About Snoop’s Transformation To Snoop Lion, They’re SUING!

Quite a few people aren’t really feeling Snoop Dogg’s “transformation” into Snoop Lion, though most just have brushed it off and ignored it. However, a few people are so adamant about it, they’ve decided that may sue! Bunny Wailer, who’s an original member of Bob Marley and the Wailers, spoke with TMZ about Snoop’s recent doc “Reincarnated” that showed his immersion in the Rasta culture…and he says it’s all a bunch of BS! Wailer says Snoop has engaged in “outright fraudulent use of Rastafari Community’s personalities and symbolism” and that he has failed to meet “contractual, moral and verbal commitments.”

To add to that, the leaders of the Ethio-Africa Diaspora Union Millennium Council (aka Rastafari Millennium Council) have also threatened to sue, telling Snoop that “smoking weed and loving Bob Marley and reggae music is not what defines the Rastafari Indigenous Culture!” They are requesting that he stop using the name “Lion,” pay for the “financial and moral support” they claim he committed AND issue a public apology.
