Saturday night two undercover detectives for the NYPD shot a man after he flashed a BB Gun at the officers. The officers were arresting Nolan Rivera, a 33 year old drug dealer when his friend came up on them from behind. The two detectives opened fire when the man whose name has not been released hopped out of a livery cab and pointed a toy gun at them that has a strong resemblance of a Glock pistol. Hit the jump for more.
Rivera was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, tampering with physical evidence and criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was sent to the hospital because he swallowed a bag of drugs.
