Beyonce Drops Out Of Clint Eastwood’s “A Star Is Born” Film

Posted by Unknown on 11:27 AM

Some people are calling Beyonce’s choice to remove herself from Clint Eastwood’s film “A Star Is Born” a political move after Eastwood’s candid crticisim of President Obama at this year’s Repulican’s National Convention. Click “more” below to see what Beyonce has to say!

Beyonce released a statement to E! News on Tuesday saying, ”I was looking forward to the production of ‘A Star Is Born’ and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood. For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together.”

The remake, which had no start date and no definite leading man, is now also without a leading lady.

Though it’s possible the difference in political stance could have affected the director-actress relationship, the real issue seems like a lack in ability to coordinate the film.
