Jerry Sandusky Placed on Suicide Watch & In Protective Custody

Posted by Anonymous on 8:23 PM

Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky was convicted yesterday and found guilty of 45 counts related to child sex abuse. He will be sentenced in about 90 days and plans were put in to make sure he sees that day. Read more after the jump.

Sandusky will likely spend the rest of his life behind bars after a jury convicted him on 45 of 48 counts related to sexual abuse of boys, ending a painful chapter for victims and the entire university. Sandusky should be sentenced in about 90 days, the judge said and will remain behind bars until sentencing. According to his attorney Joe Amendola, Sandusky has been placed on suicide watch and in protective custody separate from other inmates.

I want him to fully serve out his sentence until he dies of natural causes. I also would prefer he’s amongst the general population for obvious reasons. However I do understand the precautions taken no one wants on suicide in this case.
