Here’s a new one: Doctor O’Neal! Congrats to Shaq!
The former NBA center is set to graduate officially from Miami’s Barry University Saturday with a doctorate degree in education.
The tall-head, who’s expected in full graduation regalia at the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, just finished his end-of-school project. He studied of the effects of humor, and seriousness, in leadership styles!
And if you believe Dr. David Kopp, chair of the Catholic school’s Organizational Learning and Leadership and Human Resource Development Program, Shaq managed to find the time between his mumbling appearances on NBA broadcasts and constant tweeting to do actual school work.
“He’s a very impressive guy, very inquisitive, and it’s a pleasure to have him as a student,” Kopp said. “I think the degree will serve as an example for others, and he should be very proud of himself.”
