XXXTentacion lives on in the video for “Arms Around You” featuring Lil Pump, Maluma, and Swae Lee.
The partly-animated clip, described as a “celebration of life,” pays tribute to the late rapper, who died in June. Blending high-def visuals and black-and-white illustrations, director James Larese brings the visual to life, combining images of XXX and new footage of Pump, Swae Lee, and Maluma.
Produced by Mally Mall, Skrillex and JonFX, the Latin-flavored collaboration debuted at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has received over 100 million global streams in just two weeks.
XXXTentacion’s posthumous album, Skins, is set for release on Dec. 7. The 10-track set includes the single “Bad,” which was released last week.
