Post Malone Tops Beatles & J. Cole for Billboard Record

Posted by Unknown on 1:39 PM

Another day, another series of records for Post Malone.

White Iverson now owns the milestone for most simultaneous top 20 Hot 100 hits. Hot off the release of beerbongs & bentleys, Posty lands tracks in the category, according to Billboard. That’s more than enough to beat out the previous record holders, The Beatles and J. Cole, who each had six.

That’s not all. At the same time, Malone breaks the record for most simultaneous top 40 Hot 100 hits with 14. Last week, J. Cole had the record at 10. All 18 songs from beerbongs currently appear in the Hot 100, starting with the Ty Dolla $ign-assisted “Psycho” at No. 2. Posty is only the third act to have that many songs on the chart at once, following Drake and The Weeknd.

Malone keeps breaking records. Earlier this week, beerbongs earned the biggest streaming week ever for an album on its way to becoming his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200. With 461,000 units in its first week out, the project also posted the biggest overall week for an album this year.
