Migos Performs ‘Stir Fry’ & ‘Narcos’ on ‘SNL’

Posted by Unknown on 2:20 PM

Live from New York, it’s Migos! The trio of Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff took over as musical guests on “SNL” on Saturday (March 3), where they performed two singles from their chart-topping album, Culture II.

Up first, the Quality Control crew danced with their dogs in the nighttime, while running through a rendition of the Pharrell Williams-produced “Stir Fry.” With their wrists twisting and diamonds glistening, the guys were joined by a live band under red lanterns, no doubt inspired by the song’s cinematic visual.

For their second performance of the night, Migos joined forces with the live band once again for the Quavo and DJ Durel-produced “Narcos.” Inspired by the hit Netflix series about drug kingpins, the Atlanta MCs rapped about Pablo Escobar, Dracos, and Colombia.

To perform their Hot 100 single (the track peaked at No. 36), the trio traded lanterns for a more simple yellow/orange backdrop. Their ice was much more extravagant than that, however, as they were flossing glaciers around their necks, wrists, and fingers for both sets.

This wasn’t Migos first time on the famed “SNL” stage. They previously performed “Bon Appétit” with Katy Perry in May of last year.
