Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti prove that their connection remains strong with the release of their latest collaboration, “Bankroll.”
Over hypnotic production, Uzi kicks things off with a catchy chorus. “Diamonds flooded like a sink / I’ve been pulling up in a tank / Count my money, got no limit / And my car don’t got no ceiling.”
Playboi follows Uzi with a verse about his cash. “I always keep the pole,” he raps. “Everywhere I go, I keep the pole / Everywhere I go, these bitches know / Everywhere I go, my bank don’t fold.”
In December, Carti and Uzi connected on “Squad (Firearm).” The following month, they joined forces in the video for “Lookin.”
Last year, the guys were expected to drop their joint 16*29 mixtape followed by a tour of the same name. However, the trek was canceled one day after it was announced and the project was postponed.
