Drake & Bad Bunny Hit the Studio

Posted by Unknown on 3:42 PM

Drake and Bad Bunny are “on the way.”

Drizzy linked up with the rising Puerto Rican sensation for what appears to be a new collaboration in Miami last night. The duo shared a portion of the smoke-filled evening on Instagram.

“Drake, Do you have a message for all my Latin babies?” asks Bunny, with a basketball in his hand. Looking at the camera, Drizzy adds, “I’m on the way,” before laughter erupts.

In another video, which Drizzy posted on Instagram Stories, the Toronto MC says, “el mejor,” which can be translated to “the best.” The duo exchange gun signs with their hands to sign off.

Does this mean that there's a #BadBunny and #Drake collab on the way?! πŸ™ŒπŸ”₯

The track playing in the background appears to be a peek at their collaboration. “Tell him that you’re coming with me,” Bunny sings in Spanish. “You’re mine / You know you’re mine.”

Bad Bunny has shown his love for Drizzy in the past. In fact, he mentioned him on J Balvin’s “Si Tu Novio Te Deja Sola,” where he says he feels sorry for dancer Casper Smart because J.Lo’s leaving with Drake. Since then, the 6 God and Jennifer Lopez have parted ways, a breakup that was referenced on the 6 God’s recent Scary Hours EP.

It’s unclear where Drake and Bunny’s collaboration will land, but Drizzy has been teasing his More Life follow-up for quite some time, recently saying he was going back to the studio after a brief basketball break. The album will follow “Diplomatic Immunity” and “God’s Plan,” which shattered Apple and Spotify single-day streaming records.

Meanwhile, Bad Bunny is breaking into the music industry with a bang. He is currently featured on three Hot 100 singles, including Becky G’s “Mayores,” Farruko’s Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, and Rvssian-assisted “Krippy Kush,” and Enrique Iglesia’s “El BaΓ±o.”
