Video: N.E.R.D feat. Future – ‘1000’

Posted by Unknown on 12:45 PM

N.E.R.D goes from 0 to “1000” in the politically-charged video for their Future-assisted banger off No_One Ever Really Dies.

The striking visual, billed as a “tutorial,” opens with a disclaimer from the group and the label: “N.E.R.D and Columbia Records do not support or condone violence in any shape or form. We only have internet access.” Clips of violence at white supremacist rallies and protests follow.

Dancer Mette Towley, who also starred in N.E.R.D’s “Lemon” video, shows up to deliver a new routine, contorting her sculpted physique to the song’s futuristic beat. Mike Tyson’s famous pre-fight reflection from the 2008 documentary Tyson is interjected here, as well.

Up next, N.E.R.D will release No_One Ever Really Dies, the group’s first album since 2010’s Nothing. Featuring Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, M.I.A., André 3000, Ed Sheeran, and more, the project is due Dec. 15.
