A U.S. judge has now temporarily blocked Trump’s immigration ban nationwide. U.S. District Judge James Robart sided with the state. Government lawyers says the states didn’t have the standing to challenge Trump’s order.
Robart says,
“The state has met its burden in demonstrating immediate and irreparable injury,”
Trump claims that the ban will protect the people of the United States. Others feel as though it is a slap in the face to basic American principles. Attorney General Bob Ferguson believes that the ban has caused harm to people. Ferguson says,
“Washington has a profound interest in protecting its residents from the harms caused by the irrational discrimination embodied in the order.”
Im honestly glad some one has put a stop to this man. Hopefully this is permanent.
AG Ferguson obtains Restraining Order immediately halting Trump immigration Executive Order nationwide.
