Well the College Playoff games weren’t as competitive as people thought they would be but it surely sets up an interesting matchup for the championship game on January 11th. Both Clemson & Alabama rolled over their opponents to set up a game that will clearly pit the best two teams in the country against each other.

In the Orange Bowl, Clemson and Oklahoma was a good game for a while but then Clemson turned it on late and proved why they were in the final four to begin with. They wound up hurting the Sooners feelings, beating them 37-17 behind their Heisman trophy finalist quarterback, Deshaun Watson.
In the nightcap, Alabama absolutely destroyed Michigan State, 38-0 in the Cotton Bowl. The Spartans simply had no chance on offense as they couldn’t move the ball against that Bama defense all night. When Bama got the ball they went straight to work and got some help from special teams as well.
It sets up a mega show down on January 11th, where there will be no debating if these are the best two teams in the country. Clemson is 13-0 and still is not getting respect as they opened up as seven point underdogs for the championship game. It will be great to watch.
