Kobe Bryant hit the court in Boston for the final time as the Los Angeles Lakers played the Celtics on Wednesday night. As you know the rivalry between the Celtics and Lakers is one of the greatest in the history of sports and goes wayyy back. So for Kobe to garner the praise he did last night was HUGE!
Prior to the start of the game, Kobe was gifted with a piece of the parquet floor by Danny Ainge, Rich Gotham and Steve Pagliuca.
Kobe had a slow start to the game but did hit a dagger three-pointer that led to chants of “Kobe, Kobe, Kobe” in TD Garden. He finished with a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds. The Lakers won the game 112-104.
