She’s officially a Princess! Keeping up with royal tradition, two-month-old Princess Charlotte of Cambridge was christened in a beautiful ceremony at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk, England on July 5. Find out the details, and see pics after the jump!

The ceremony, which was led by Queen Elizabeth II, was conducted by the head of the Church of England, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Rev, Justin Welby. Charlotte wore a replica of the original satin and lace garment that was made for Queen Victoria‘s first child in 1841. Up until 2008, that garment was worn by every royal baby, but it became too fragile so the queen ordered for a copy to be made. Prince George, Charlottes older brother wore the same garment for his christening.

The Princess’ godparents were announced hours before the ceremony. Tom van Straubenzee, who was a key part of Will and Kate’s 2011 wedding, James Meade, a classmate of Williams at Eton College, Sophie Carter, a friend of Kate’s, Laura Fellowes, the daughter of Princess Diana’s sister, and Adam Middleton, Kate’s cousin. Charlotte’s grandparents on both sides of the family were there along with her nanny, And of course the Queen.
