Ne-Yo, engaged? If so, he’s been keeping things on the serious hush. However, thanks to a little English canary bird named Ed Sheeran, we have a clue. Details down bottom.
Since the spilt with his children’s mother, Monyetta Shaw, Ne-Yo has been cozied up with Crystal Renay, model and actress (according to her Instagram). Every chance they get, the couple show off their affection for each other. These days, that affection may be turning into a marriage, real quick.
During an interview with BBC Radio 1, ol’ Ed slipped up and revealed Ne-Yo’s wedding plans. “I performed at the Stevie Wonder tribute and I met Ne-Yo and he was like, ‘I’ve learnt the dance from “Thinking Out Loud” for the first dance at my wedding.’ I thought it was cool.” That night, the two men singers exchanged numbers. I bet Ne-Yo wants to change that now.

Ne-Yo split with Monyetta in 2012. The mother of children, Madilyn, 4, and Mason, 3, appeared on VH1’s Atlanta Exes (Hey, what happened to that show? Hmmm…) where she revealed the devastating break-up. The Non-Fiction star opened up about not having any bad blood with Shaw. “The romantic element of our relationship is over but that is my partner, we’re raising a kid together.” Now, that’s how you handle a break-up when a child is involved.
