The flamboyant rapper sets off a Twitter frenzy when during his Yeezus concert in Australia he insisted the whole crowd stood up and danced. However, two members of the audience couldn’t follow his demands as they were disabled. Read more after the jump…
While performing at Qantas Credit Union Arena in Melbourne, Sydney, Kanye called out to his fans to stand up unknowingly shouting ‘unless y’all sitting down because y’all handicapped.’In fact, Ye was so passionate for the crowd to become more involved he actually the stopped the whole concert until he felt everyone was standing.
The only things is, one person was in the wheelchair and the other had a prosthetic leg and made Kanye aware of that by waving the limb in the air making Ye realise his error and replied “Ok, You fine!” Only then did he move forward with the concert.
To be fair, it would seem Kanye didn’t realise they were disabled when he went to such lengths for crowd participation, but you already know the Twitter community does not play.
