It is no secret that songstress Lana Del Rey has had somewhat of a strained relationship with media, often times having to clear up past misinterpretations. Now, there is an another hot button headline coming from the ‘Ultraviolence’ singer, with her claiming that she slept with several men in the industry in hopes of further her career. In a soon to be released interview with Complex, the topic came up when speaking about her song ‘F*cked My Way To The Top’, and she explains that her sleeping with men in the industry did not advance her career in anyway and she’s “annoyed” by that.
“It’s commentary, like, ‘I know what you think of me,’ and I’m alluding to that,” Del Rey said. “You know, I have slept with a lot of guys in the industry, but none of them helped me get my record deals. Which is annoying.”
