After James Harden appeared to kick Lebron James earlier today during the Rockets vs Cavs game, Barnes jumped on twitter and called B.S. on the $25,000 fine he got when he kicked a Gatorade cup a couple weeks ago. More than 200 skeletons were found under a supermarket in Paris. The bodies were found in a mass grave underneath a Monoprix supermarket. Monoprix is a popular supermarket in France. The site was once known to be a hospital. The bodies were laid out in a neat row in order to identify them. The skeletons date back centuries and are thought to be anywhere from the 14th to the 16th century.

It was once thought that all the bodies had been removed by the eighteenth century. Archaeologists said they were very shocked to discover the communal grave. The Archaeologists are now planning to carry out DNA tests to see if the people died of the plague. Researchers also say that each body was laid out with special care. Carbon dating will be performed on the bodies to see when they were buried.

Marshawn Lynch has been his usual quiet self with the media since the Seahawks lost to the Patriots in Super Bowl 49 but alot of us had the same legit question for beast mode. How did he feel about the Hawks calling a pass play instead of handing him the rock to get one yard and win the game?

Lynch is currently in Turkey with fellow NFL players DeAngelo Williams and Gary Barnidge to promote the game of football. While there, the players sat down for an interview on NTV Spor. That’s when Lynch admitted that he had expected the football with the game on the line.

A Turkish translator is talking over the interview and may make it tough to hear.

Here is the transcript of what Lynch is saying:

To be honest with you, I would be lying if I didn’t tell you that I was expecting the ball. Yes, I was expecting the ball. But in life, these things happen. Like I told a reporter after the game, it’s a team sport.

I had no problem with the decision of the playcalling. I mean, you know … I think it was more of a … how do I say this? When you look at me, and you let me run that ball in … I am the face of the nation. You know, MVP of the Super Bowl … that’s pretty much the face of the nation at that point of time. I don’t know what went into that call. I mean, maybe it was a good thing that I didn’t get the ball. I mean, you know, it cost us the Super Bowl. I mean, I have full … I have full confidence in my teammates to execute that plan because we’ve done it so many more times. But would I love to had the ball in? Yes, I would have.

But the game is over, and I am in Turkey.

Lynch is pretty much throwing jabs the entire time, but also being respectful. End of the day he is just being honest, but its interesting to hear he feels there could be more behind him not getting the ball. Lynch is still unsigned for next year and you have to wonder about the relationship if he thinks those things.

Dude Spits On Train Conductor Then Gets Handled. I never understood why people who aren’t tough always try to act like they are, especially in situations where its unwarranted.. like in a train. Check out the video inside.

From what it looks like, they guy standing up was causing trouble on the train so much that two conductors had to come in to handle him. He was still acting tough and actually spat on a conductor and at that point they were fed up with him. They tackled him to the floor and probably left him there until the cops came. Although it did look like the man was drunk or under the influence of some sort of drug, that’s still not an excuse to act a fool in public.

He gets emotional when speaking about tough times with his wife Vanessa and what being a father means to him. He speaks in such depth about everything from high school till now that it will definitely give you a renewed appreciation of Kobe while we still have the chance to watch him hopefully play one more season. NFL: Ray Rice Admits He Contemplated Suicide After Domestic Violence Incident Last Year

Ray Rice opened up a little more about the domestic violence situation he put himself in last year after hitting his then fiance, Janay Rice, admitting he had thoughts of taking his own life. Naturally those thoughts probably came from the embarrassment and the shame of what he had done but nonetheless, it still points to how serious the situation was behind closed doors, while the media was thirsty to invade the family’s privacy. Things seem to slowly be getting better for Ray and Janay, but there were some very dark times.

Rice sat down with the Baltimore Sun … and says he was emotionally devastated after the video went public.

“The big picture of it all, being the person that I am, I really felt horrible. You almost want to punish yourself. I know I’m never going to win the battle of public opinion. Honestly, I almost felt like at one point that it wasn’t worth living. I see why people commit suicide.”

Rice continued, “It hurt that bad. I was low, real low. It hurt that bad because you worked your whole life to do all the right things and then you’re the world’s most hated person. It was really tough. My daughter, oh Lord, I grew up without a father, there’s no way I could check out on my own family.”

“Time does heal everything, but I don’t think people are going to forget this. I want people to not forget about the incident, but I want people to see there’s a human being on the other side. This is not a monster, a guy who’s a repeat offender. I’m not the guy they stereotype me to be. I’m not excusing what I did.”

Egyptian police arrested seven people on Thursday for “debauchery,” the charge routinely used against men accused of homosexuality, according to a report in the Egyptian tabloid Al-Youm el-Saba. The paper identified the seven as “transsexuals,”This is the first highly publicized arrest of allegedly gay or trans people since the January acquittal of 26 men arrested in a raid on a working-class bathhouse that was featured in a television broadcast reporting to tell “the whole story of the dens for spreading AIDS in Egypt.” Last week, an April trial was scheduled in a defamation suit against the reporter who made the program, Mona Iraqi, and the owner of the station that broadcast it, Tarek Nour of the Al-Qahera Wal Nas channel.

I really wish some athletes would make more examples of out idiotic fans on social media to hopefully make them think twice next time they wanna troll someone. Yesterday, Kevin Durant posted a picture which he wound up quickly deleting because he wound up calling a fan a “dickhead” after he commented that Russ was better than him. KD wasn’t mad at the comment, he was annoyed it was just another person trying to drive a wedge between them and it’s not not gonna happen. Durant called him that and said who cares because they are teammates, which is 100% correct. Lionel Richie had this to say about Kanye West :

“Am I fan of the N-word? Not coming from the 1960s and 70s. Whereas the new world has embraced it,” Richie said when addressing Kanye’s usage of the N-word. “I don’t think it’s OK for a black man to use the N-word. I don’t like it – and I am a black man. I don’t think it should be said and become normal.”

Lionel Richie also commented on Kanye West and his effect on this generation by saying that he provides “shock value” and that his voice is speaking louder then his actual music.

“Kanye is giving us the generation shock value. How he carries on for the next 10 years we will see,” he said. “The music business is more attention driven, but you have to let it pass. Don’t even focus on it. Because what we have going on in the world is so over the top. I mean, who are we fighting?

Lionel Richie also made the point that “There is more hunger and famine in the world today than there was when we did ‘We Are The World.’”

Believe it or not Kanye West rehearsed a censored version of “All Day” before the show but opted of it an hour before to delete the changes.

Man Is Assaulted By Police While In Handcuffs. Coward.. all I saw in that video was a cowardly man who can’t control himself and takes advantage of those who can’t defend themselves. We all know this happens all the time during interrogation but to actually see it is very disgusting.

The police officer who was interrogating the suspect in handcuffs was clearly frustrated and saw the perfect opportunity to take that frustration out on a person who can’t fight back. He kicked, punched and kicked the suspect several times until another officer came into the room to calm things down, all while the suspect in handcuffs was pleading for him to stop. Let’s face it, no police offer plays by the “rules”. They never have and never will because they can easily cover for each other like they’ve been doing for decades now. The best part was when there were three officers in the room with him, grabbing him up tightly against the wall and still had the nerves to tell him to “Stop Resisting” when he clearly had no room to wiggle around. I’m shocked but not surprised because this is what 80% of police officers do when they have you subdued. They take full advantage of you however they please. I hope this video helps in terminating and incriminating these crooked officers who are clearly mis-using their power.

NFL: Report, Cowboys To Use Franchise Tag On Dez Bryant, Will Let DeMarco Murray Leave

It seems for now the loud rumors of Dez Bryant being involved in a nasty altercation and it being caught on video a few years ago have quieted down. The Cowboys either know it’s false or don’t seem to care much because they are prepared to use the franchise tag on Bryant, which would lock him in for next season at a guaranteed $13 million dollars. Even still, Dez is very upset with the situation and will likely skip all the off season meetings and workouts because he wants a long term deal. Perhaps even more surprising is the Cowboys decision to let DeMarco Murray, who was the best running back in the entire league last year, go ahead and test free agency.

If DeMarco Murray signs a new contract with the Cowboys this offseason, it will only be after testing the free agent market. That’s the word from Cowboys Vice President Stephen Jones, who said the Cowboys’ talks with the agents for the free agent running back have been “slow.”

“[Murray] is probably going to, you know, get some peace and see what’s out in the market and then we’ll talk and see. I do believe deep down he’d love to stay in Dallas,” Jones told FOX Sports.

Murray may want to stay in Dallas, and the Cowboys may want to keep him, but that doesn’t mean the two sides are going to come to an agreement. The Cowboys won’t have a lot of salary cap space after franchising Dez Bryant, and Murray may find that some other team is going to give him more money than the Cowboys are offering.

You can basically expect Murray to NOT be back in Dallas because there will be teams who will pay him what he wants since the Cowboys are hesitant and in football, with the short career span for a running back, in the words of Troy Ave, it is definitely all about the money.

NBA: Russell Westbrook Has Surgery On His Face, Will Be Re-Evaluated Later This Week

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook underwent a successful procedure to address a fracture in the zygomatic arch bone of his right cheek Saturday, the team announced. He has been ruled out for Sunday’s game at the Los Angeles Lakers and will be re-evaluated this week to determine when he can return to play.

Westbrook suffered the injury with only a few seconds left in the fourth quarter against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday when teammate Andre Roberson inadvertently kneed him in the face, leaving a visible dent in the side of his face. Westbrook left the game without speaking to reporters in order to carry out further evaluation at a local medical facility.

The zygomatic arch bone separates the eye socket from the sinuses.

Westbrook had his third consecutive triple-double against the Blazers, scoring 40 points with 13 rebounds and 11 assists. He had a historic February, averaging 31.2 points, 9.1 rebounds and 10.3 assists, numbers that only ever have been totaled by Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson.

The Thunder obviously can not afford Westbrook to miss any time with KD already sitting out but from the sounds of it Russell could be playing in a few days. I am sure the NBA as a whole is feeling a little at ease knowing he might miss a few games, considering the way he is dominating the entire league the past month.

The highly anticipated UFC 184 fight between Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano unfortunately didn’t come remotely close to living up to the hype, and it could be a long term issue for UFC. Rousey made extremely short work of Zingano, finishing her off in 14 seconds after getting her in an arm bar almost immediately after the opening bell. Zingano will no doubt be second guessing her decision to try and rush Rousey at the start. Long term though, fans are already rumbling that Rousey is becoming boring through no fault of her own. There just aren’t many quality opponents out there so Dana White is going to have to do something. In the mean time enjoy the clip because that is literally how fast the fight was over.
