Jared Fogle and his team of lawyers are really doing everything they can to make sure Fogle gets the minimum prison sentence of five years for paying to have sex with minors. Just last week Fogle asked the judge to cut him some slack because his 15 and 16 year-old victims were not too far off from legal age. Now Fogle, who’s currently facing a sentence of 12 1/2 years, is claiming that the Subway diet caused him to desire sex with underage children.

Jared Fogle’s lawyers called a sexual behavior expert to the stand to testify that before the Subway diet, Fogle had compulsive eating disorder. After dropping the weight he developed compulsive hypersexuality disorder.
It sounds like a crock to me, however the lawyers are doing everything they possible can think of to keep Fogle from going to jail for more than the minimum sentence. Jared Fogle has officially entered a guilty plea, and is awaiting further testimony before the judge announces his sentence.
