Could Kendrick Lamar be the next to tie the knot? From the looks of it, wedding bells might be ringing soon for the To Pimp A Butterfly Compton emcee. It has been recently reported that Kendrick Lamar has apparently been in a committed relationship with his high school sweetheart who goes by the name of Whitney Alford for the past 9+ years. While doing promo for his new album that is already being dubbed as a classic, Kendrick and Lamar were spotted out and about. That would be extremely normal IF a huge rock on her finger wasn’t spotted.
I’m not diamond expert but it sure looks like an engagement ring to me. Being that Kendrick is super private with his personal life, I’m sure it will take us awhile to find out if he really did pop the question or not. However, we JUST found out that he even had a girlfriend so finding out if he’s engaged will probably be a tad bit more tough. ALTHOUGH– back in 2013 when Kendrick chopped it up with R&B songbird Erykah Badu, he did mention that he had a “main chick” as he called it. “But the main one is a friend of mine – a lady friend who has known me since high school. She has always been someone, since day one, who has said something whenever I’m an a*****e, or also if I’m doin’ something positive – but more so when I’m out of my element,”
