CONGRATULATIONS SOLANGE! The singer took to Twitter to share how excited she was to have been given the key to New Orleans. After receiving this good news, Solange lost her wedding ring during a Mardi Gras parade, however, Solange’s son put her in better spirits by expressing how happy he was that she didn’t fall off the float.
Solange said,
“I can’t put into words how grateful I am to be given the Key to the City! NEW ORLEANS, from the bottom of my soul, I am so thankful.”
Im sure this feeling is a wonderful one. Even though Solange lost her wedding ring, she managed to stay in good spirits. They are offering a reward to anyone who returns the ring back to her. Solange Tweeted how happy her son made her by saying,
“My son said, mom I’m just happy YOU didn’t fly off the float, & that your safe, & that you still get to have the love you have. *tears dried,”
Well congrats again Solange and lets hope someone finds that ring and returns it
