Gone but never forgotten. Today we remember Trayvon Martin as he would have been 21 years old had his life not been taken away by George Zimmerman. Trayvon Martin was taken away too soon, but we will continue to fight for justice in memory of not only Martin, but all the black lives taken away due to injustice.
Trayvon Martin was just walking home from the store when he was shot and killed by a neighborhood watchman, George Zimmerman. Although authorities told Zimmerman to stay where he was at and not to follow Martin, he did it anyway. Had he listened, Trayvon Martin would be alive today celebrating his 21st birthday. Social media chimed in to send love and blessings to Martin’s family.
Happy Birthday Trayvon Martin. Rest In Paradise.
