Cardinals haven’t had it too easy this year but they have no one to blame but themselves. Finishing has been somewhat of an issue for the team but yesterday taking home the W wasn’t an issue at all. Cardinals took their second straight NL Central title before the first pitch last night so maybe this kept the momentum high for the night.
“Even after they surged into the lead, the Cardinals had a hard time finishing it off, limping to the finish while allowing Pittsburgh to hang around for a chance at the division title.” They are next up to play the Dodgers in LA.
