In case you missed it, Hot 97 kicked off labor day weekend right with performances from some of your favorite reggae artist at “On The Reggae Tip”. For the first time ever, #HOT97ODRT was held outdoors at the new JBL Live at Pier 97 in New York City. Performances were held by Shabba Ranks, Shaggy, Beenie Man, Tessanne Chin, Bunji Garlin, Kranium, QQ, and Samantha J. But one of the most memorable moments of the night is when, suprise guest Ashanti comes on stage and whines her waistline on stage to reggae remix of her hit song “foolish”. Who knew she could move like that?!
