|Video| #NBA Ouch! Joakim Noah Suffers Nasty Ankle Injury & Leaves On Crutches

Posted by Anonymous on 6:53 PM

Joakim Noah turned his ankle over— badly— in the third quarter of Friday night’s Game 3 vs. the Philadelphia 76ers, and the eyewitness prognosis from immediately after the game was not good. Read more after the jump.

On a drive to the hoop, Noah stepped on the foot of Sixers forward Andre Igoudala and ended up with the side of his foot completely parallel to the floor as his foot and ankle made a near-perfect 90 degree angle. Noah was seen walking very gingerly with the assistance of crutches as the Bulls exited the arena following their 79-74 loss to the Sixers.

Noah on crutches just made from Sixers’ X-ray room –slowly — to visitors’ training room. Crutches playing way too big a role for Bulls.

If Noah is out for any significant amount of time, it may be the final blow to a Bulls team that is already reeling after Derrick Rose tore his ACL in Game 1.
